Queen of Heart Recipient

Rachel Tucker

Rachel Tucker has 20 years of experience ministering to women and teens in crisis. Her

passion for evangelism has led her to teach and serve juvenile offenders, mothers in housing projects, substance abusers, homeless mothers, and foster-care teens. Rachel's ultimate joy is to see people who have been wounded deeply find redemption and transformation as they discover their true identity in Christ. She served as an urban missionary for five years and ministered internationally in England, Ghana, Haiti, Kenya, Romania, Uganda, and Zimbabwe. In 2011, Rachel felt the call of God to start Cherish, a ministry for pregnant and young moms. Cherish has provided baby care items, life-skills classes, abuse prevention, and spiritual support for 600 mothers and children since 2011. Cherish events are attended by 2,000 participants annually, and encourage women to boldly step into their calling as spiritual mothers to the next generation. Rachel and her husband Micah have been married for 18 years, and their two children, Elijah and Aliyah, serve in outreach with them.
